In the early 1740's before there was a parade, Mardi Gras was celebrated with
elegant society balls. And one of the most well known names in Louisiana history is
Jean Lafitte, The Gentleman Pirate of New Orleans.
So we've decided to combine the two...to honor a city, a tradition, a pirate, and part of our country's history. Join us as we celebrate Mardi Gras in the best possible way!

It's time to wear your fanciest ball gown or your most dashing pirate attire!

It's also time to create an air of mystique by keeping your identity hidden behind a mask!
It's not required, but we hope you'll play along and help keep the
masquerade tradition alive!
